Sales Account Manager

Job Purpose

As a Sales Account Manager, your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve success. You will develop positive relationships with customers, act as the point of contact for their individual needs and generate new business using existing and potential customer networks. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a customer service-oriented mindset. Your core focus will involve listening to the customer, creating value-add solutions, sustainable profitability, and a willingness to invest in the long-term and constantly improve. Ultimately, your contributions will support business growth by building successful, long-term customer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Identifies and locates new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
  • Develops and implements strategies for new market sales in an assigned territory or industry.
  • Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match solutions to the needs of customers
  • Answers inquiries from customers concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
  • Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to customers.
  • Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders.
  • Collaborates with product departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
  • Remains accessible to direct clients and acts with urgency to ensure NI retains its reputation for prompt, knowledgeable service, and support. Performs on-site client visits as appropriate or necessary.
  • Works with direct clients and the Sales Engineer to keep existing products and services running at peak performance to drive customer intimacy and generate maximum revenue.
  • Provides updates to customers on critical product changes, product developments and new product and service offerings.
  • Participate in trade shows and similar events as necessary to promote NI products and services.
  • Works with manager to develop sales strategy and meet company goals and revenues.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years demonstrated sales experience in technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications and industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Valid Swedish driver's licence.
  • A willingness to embrace and live the core values of Network Innovations.

Working conditions

This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours and up to 50% travel will be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software.
